The Kyushu Regional Committee The US and Japanese governments are going to conduct massive military exercises in early December with the mobilization of 46 thousand troops, 410 warplanes and 60 war vessels on land, at sea and in the air all over the country. They are preparing aggressive exercises with the aim of the military containment of the Chinese state, which is ambitious to seize the control of the East and South China Seas from US imperialism. We must not let them do it. Against their actions, the Chinese rulers have carried out their own military exercises repeatedly. Thus in East Asia, a military confrontation is intensifying. The danger of war is growing. The official opposition leaders, however, have abandoned any struggle against them. What the JCP leadership did was to give a letter to the ministry of defence, saying that the party was against the military exercises 'because they are not in defence of Japan'. The JRCL calls on workers and students to rise in a fight in Kyushu, at the key field of the exercises.
